United Waters is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing clean and safe drinking water to all people in need around the world.
We identify communities lacking access to clean water and either act independently or partner with local organizations to deliver water as quickly as possible and educate communities on sanitation practices. We also strive to respond efficiently to provide water after disasters. Additionally, we welcome any inquiries or information about where assistance is needed.
Our projects are primarily focused in underserved regions across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, but we are continually expanding our reach.
First and foremost, we focus on global statistics to cover the most urgent needs. Additionally, we strive to respond promptly to news in order to assist regions affected by disasters and emergencies.
In selecting water suppliers, we focus on quality, compliance with all necessary certifications, and cost. Additionally, we strive to support domestic producers, so we predominantly purchase water from Bulgaria.
We work closely with local communities to ensure they are trained and equipped to maintain the water systems long-term. We also conduct regular follow-ups and assessments.
We need to address the problem here and now, as developing infrastructure takes a long time. Our primary task is to provide the population with drinking water, but we are also working on creating infrastructure in these countries.
Our mission is to help the world, not hard it. That’s why we’re trying to do everything we can to protect the environment. For example, we use flexy bags to reduce the amount of plastic.
You can make a donation through our website via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. We also accept recurring donations.
